About the Role:

Step into success as a Business Advisory Manager, where you’ll take charge in client engagements that make an impact on business operations. As an expert in strategic solutions, you’ll drive timely and efficient compliance, advisory and project work, solving complex business challenges and provide commercial advice. Your Responsibilities:

In this position, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving successful outcomes for your clients whilst participating in a culture of excellence within your team. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Offering knowledge-based advice on a range of business and tax issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial statements
  • Review, advise and coach clients to make informed decisions, which encourages optimal internal finance functions and efficiency
  • Prepare finance reports, budgets and forecasts for a range of SME businesses
  • Understand and evaluate business statistics, proposals and financial modelling
  • Oversee and assist with tax functions, including income tax, GST, and PAYE
  • Actively participate in relationship building and client engagement through business development 

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • 3 years’ experience in a public practice firm
  • CA qualification or similar
  • A strong understanding of accounting, tax legislation, and business principles
  • Previous Xero experience
  • NZ working rights
