The client:

Australian-owned, family-operated business with a rich history spanning over 30 years. Recognized for their remarkable workwear, they cater for all industries including corporate, hospitality, education, sports, and casual wear. With a strong presence in New Zealand, we are seeking an experienced Account Manager to expand key partnerships.

The role:

With over 200 B2B accounts, you’ll be busy connecting with and visiting your clients throughout Auckland, the upper North Island, and across the South Island. You’ll build strong relationships with your clients and understand their requirements to become their top apparel and PPE supplier. By selling to different industries, you will play a crucial role in growing these accounts and thriving in a competitive landscape.

Day-to-Day responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Drive sales for both existing and new accounts.
  • Client Engagement: Regularly meet with customers to understand their needs and upcoming projects.
  • Product Promotion: Introduce and promote new products and ranges.
  • Account Management: Maintain communication with accounts, addressing and resolving issues effectively.
  • Industry Events: Attend trade shows and relevant customer events to network and promote products.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct impactful sales presentations both internally and externally.

About you:

  • On the road sales and account management experience.
  • A strong track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and a results-driven attitude.
  • Full drivers licence.
