We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Wellington regional law firm with over 90 staff and partners, serving a wide range of personal, business, and government clients. The firm has offices in Wellington CBD, Lower Hutt, and Masterton, offering an excellent working environment, great work, a vibrant culture, and a healthy work/life balance.

We are currently looking for a Legal Secretary to join the Property team at their Lower Hutt office.

About the Role:

In this position, you will support a team of highly experienced property lawyers and legal executives. You will play a key role within this successful team, contributing to the smooth operation and high standards that the firm is known for.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a property secretary with a solid understanding of the conveyancing process.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive individual who shows initiative, asks insightful questions, and demonstrates a strong work ethic.
  • A team player with a “can do” attitude.
  • Someone who is looking to grow and settle into this important role for the long term.
