Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced electrical draftsperson/designer to help manage a backlog of as-fitted drawings, and work alongside other team members to ensure the accuracy and quality of design outputs. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings from provided information, marked-up drawings, or sketches
- Design estimation and work scope assessment
- Preliminary design, including the production of feasibility study reports and design specifications
- Review and check design work produced by peers for accuracy and compliance with standards
- Liaise and attend meetings with customer as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5-10 years of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience in a design drafting role within the electrical engineering field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential
- Strong attention to detail with a comprehensive understanding of technical engineering drawing
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate design details clearly
