There is a shortage of skilled job seekers with experience in payroll, credit control and AML experience, and we are always looking for job seekers with these skills. Many entry level positions do not require a qualification. That said, it can be hard to progress in your career without one.

BCom Degrees and Chartered Accountant / CPA qualifications are typically what we seek for mid-level roles, and are highly valuable when applying for jobs.

Post-COVID, we are seeing a renewed focus on working in the office, and the connectivity and culture benefits that can result. Many Accounting and Finance roles are primarily office-based.

That said, many organisations  do offer flexible work in various formats.  In the jobs we recruit for, we see hybrid models, i.e. with one or two remote work/from home days per week, along with a greater support of flexibility in start and finish times. Part-time roles and job share roles are also fairly common.
