About the Role
 
As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee key projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timeliness while exceeding client expectations. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing MOE (Ministry of Education) contracts and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
 

  • Lead MOE construction projects from planning to final delivery.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments, implementing solutions as needed.
  • Regularly report on project progress and provide updates to clients and senior management.

 
Start Date: Open to immediate start or negotiable based on candidate availability.
Days/Hours: 9-day fortnight available after six months of employment.
 
About You
 
You’re an experienced senior project manager with a background in property or asset management. You’re organised, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple projects. Experience with MOE contracts is essential.
 
You’ll succeed in this role if you have:

  • 5+ years NZ based project management experience, ideally with MOE contracts.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills to foster positive client relationships.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to overcoming project challenges.
