Data Cleansing Analyst

We’re looking for a Data Cleansing Analyst to support a key project focused on asset management. This role will involve analysing data, assessing system changes, and ensuring accuracy and consistency within in-house tools. The project is driven by recent audit findings and minor process updates, requiring a detail-focused analyst to review and implement necessary improvements across various tools, including application of data automation for regular updating of documents. If you have strong data analysis experience and a keen eye for process efficiency, this could be a great opportunity.

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Temporary Contract until the end of June
Location: Devonport

What you’ll be doing:

  • Review and analyse data across various data sources and applications including MS Access
  • Assess requested changes in response to audit findings and process updates, implementing them or recommending better alternatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, efficiency, and overall system performance
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the tools

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in data analysis and data cleansing
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate system updates and provide expert recommendations
  • MS Access knowledge is beneficial but not essential

The successful candidate must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and capable of obtaining a New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) Security Clearance.
