Financial Accountant

Madison Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for approximately 2–3 months.

Based in West Auckland, this is a great opportunity to step into a busy, hands-on role and keep things running smoothly during a period of transition.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing financial statements and reports
  • Managing month-end processes
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed

We are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Accountant (ideally in a similar environment)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to hit the ground running and work independently
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

Assignment details:

  • Location: New Lynn, Auckland
  • Duration: 2–3 months
  • Hours: Full-time
