Our client is a global leader in essential packaging solutions, dedicated to making our world better, safer, and more sustainable. They are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team in Hamilton and play a critical role in delivering high-quality HR services across our operations.

About the Role
As the HR Business Partner, you will partner with business leaders, employees, and external consultants to provide comprehensive HR support at both local and regional levels. From talent acquisition to compliance, onboarding, employee relations, and HR systems, this role covers the full spectrum of HR operations. You will also have the opportunity to lead and contribute to HR projects that impact engagement, retention, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive talent acquisition in partnership with the APAC Talent Hub, ensuring high standards in sourcing and recruitment.
  • Advise managers and employees on employment contracts, entitlements, benefits, and immigration matters.
  • Oversee onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Act as HRIS Super User (Success Factors experience advantageous).
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and job evaluations in alignment with global frameworks.
  • Lead and support HR initiatives and projects in areas such as engagement, retention, and skills development.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.
  • Conduct investigations, manage grievances, and support fair workplace practices.
  • Deliver compliance reporting and HR audits.
  • Facilitate training and development programs where required.

About You
You will be a confident and detail-focused HR professional with:

  • Extensive experience across HR services including talent management, employee relations, engagement, and retention.
  • Strong HRIS experience (Success Factors an advantage).
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practice recruitment/retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong planning, time management, and organisational skills.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant business or HR discipline is preferred.
