Transformation / Shared Services Manager
$150000 - $175000 per annum

Our client who is a major organisation undergoing a large-scale transformation, is looking for someone to oversee and deliver the finance workstream of a complex Shared Services programme.
This newly established role offers the opportunity to operate at a senior level, driving key financial outcomes across the organisation and influencing executive stakeholders.

You will be responsible for shaping financial frameworks, developing and embedding a cost recovery model, and ensuring that future business cases and operating models are underpinned by robust financial insight.
You’ll be supported by a financial modeller and process analyst, enabling you to focus on leadership, strategy, and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-entity shared services transformation programme.
  • Engage with senior leaders to align strategy, provide clear options, and influence decisions.
  • Develop and implement a cost recovery model that drives sustainable financial outcomes.
  • Provide analytical insights and financial solutions to support business cases.
  • Contribute to the design of future operating models, including finance processes and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, executives, and stakeholders to deliver timely results.

About You:

We are looking for a commercially astute finance leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will bring strong project management skills, experience in transformational change, and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders in complex environments.

You will ideally bring:

  • Professional finance qualification (CA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in finance, accounting, or business transformation.
  • Strong knowledge of shared services constructs and cost recovery/recharge models.
  • Demonstrated success engaging at executive level and influencing outcomes.
  • Previous exposure to large-scale change programmes.
