About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive People Partner on a 9-month Fixed Term basis (covering maternity leave) to support a diverse team within a values-oriented organization. In this hands-on HR advisory position, you’ll collaborate closely with leadership and staff to provide expert HR and employment relations support, while a dedicated recruitment team manages end-to-end hiring processes.

Responsibilities

  • Offer HR and ER guidance to staff and managers
  • Support workforce planning and organizational change initiatives
  • Foster strong employee relations and engagement
  • Assist with policy reviews to ensure compliance
  • Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
  • Contribute to cultural and diversity initiatives

About You

  • 4-5 years’ HR advisory experience
  • A tertiary qualification (minimum Bachelor’s degree) is required in a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of NZ employment law
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Practical and critical thinker
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor
