We are delighted to be partnering with a global professional services provider specialising in business advisory and tax services, to recruit a Financial Accountant position located in Highbrook, Auckland.

About the Role
In this role you will play a key role in supporting senior leadership – Managers, Principals, and Partners – ensuring the successful delivery of a broad range of accounting responsibilities. These responsibilities include delivering high-quality service to clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and consolidation reporting. You will leverage your knowledge of NZ tax compliance and IFRS standards across various entity structures to support a diverse client base.
You will be proactive and adaptable in conducting research and offering informed advice to clients. This role is ideal for someone who is able to build strong rapport with clients and finds satisfaction in mentoring others to foster a collaborative team environment.
About you
- Full CA / CPA membership and a tertiary business qualification
- Proven experience in a NZ chartered accounting role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients
- Strong technical expertise and knowledge of IFRS and NZ tax legislation
- Advanced systems skills including knowledge of Xero accounting and MS Excel software
- Analytical expertise and commercial sophistication
