Community Support Warden

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to play a vital role in fostering positive relationships between store owners, the public and the community within Auckland CBD. You’ll engage with businesses and residents, providing excellent customer service by resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a calm, professional manner. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth interactions, promoting understanding and maintaining a positive, supportive environment for Tamaki Makaurau.

Key details:

  • ASAP start – must be available immediately until September 2025
  • $30 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Based in Auckland CBD

The hours:
You need to be available to work on a fortnightly rotating roster. Weekend work is required in this position. You will be rostered to work 6 days one week, and 4 days the next week. Shifts are between 8 – 10 hours, totally 80 hours per fortnight.

About you:
This is a front facing role interacting with members of the community. You will need to be confident speaking with a variety of people and have experience in managing conflict.
Key stills required include:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous customer service and conflict resolution experience
  • Being resilient, reliable and a great team player
  • Being comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time
