Based in the Heart of Auckland CBD, they are a leading professional services firm with a nationwide footprint with a strong and established team of specialists.
We’re looking for an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of financial operations, drive commercial performance, and enhance systems and processes.
This is a hands-on, sole-charge role, working closely with the Managing Director and Board of Directors, with a dotted reporting line to the CFO in Australia.
What you’ll do:
- Manage end-to-end financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax compliance
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Oversee cashflow, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial performance management
- Prepare and present financial reports to the Board and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies
- Drive process improvements and support commercial decision-making
What you’ll bring:
- CA qualification with 5+ years of post-qualification experience
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in MYOB, Excel, and financial reporting tools
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a track record of improving processes
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
