About the role

We’re looking for a bold Social Media Marketing Manager to join a dynamic and growing organisation that operates across several distinct sectors – including lifestyle retail, personal wellness, and property.

This isn’t your average marketing gig. In this hands-on, high-impact role, you’ll take full ownership of the social media and digital content strategies for two edgy, consumer-facing brands – one of New Zealand’s leading vape retailers and a fast-growing player in the adult wellness space. From campaign planning and content creation to community management and performance analysis, you’ll drive engaging, boundary-pushing digital marketing that connects with audiences and elevates brand presence across multiple platforms.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end content and social strategy for two of their brands
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across platforms – from video and graphics to compelling copy
  • Build brand awareness and subtly promote products with a fresh, innovative approach
  • Develop and execute tailored marketing plans with a focus on lifestyle and retail audiences
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, using insights to refine strategy
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and bring bold, cheeky ideas to the table
  • Foster strong online communities and manage customer engagement

About You

  • 2–3+ years’ experience in social media marketing, digital strategy, or content management
  • Strong grasp of social media platforms, trends, and audience engagement
  • Ability to create and manage social media campaigns across various brands
  • Skilled in content creation, including design and video editing
  • Analytical mindset with experience in tracking and optimising campaign performance
  • Confident, creative thinker with a fresh approach to digital marketing and audience growth
  • Comfortable working independently and juggling multiple priorities
  • Bold and willing to push the envelope while staying compliant with relevant regulations and content laws
