Senior Site Manager – Secure Facilities Operations

About the Role:
As Senior Site Manager, you’ll lead all aspects of facilities and asset management at a large secure site. From team leadership and subcontractor management to performance reporting and compliance, you’ll ensure safe, timely, and efficient operations every day.
 
Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team including technicians and schedulers
  • Ensure all work is completed within KPI targets, budget, and compliance standards
  • Build strong working relationships with the client and stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure safe and quality delivery
  • Drive a safety-first culture through daily engagement and continuous improvement

Start Date: Flexible – immediate start or notice period respected

Days/Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday onsite (occasional on-call required)
 
About You:
You’re a practical, people-focused leader with experience in facilities or operations management. You have strong commercial awareness, a keen eye for contract performance, and the confidence to manage both people and processes effectively—even under pressure.

  • 3+ years in a senior role within facilities, maintenance, or asset management
  • Solid understanding of contract management and service-level agreements
  • Strong financial acumen – experienced in managing budgets, cost control, and performance reporting
  • Comfortable managing a high volume of work with competing priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of NZ safety legislation and site compliance (HSNO, BWOF, etc.)
  • Confident communicator, experienced with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Full NZ driver’s licence required
