About the role: We’re on the hunt for a sales and relationship champion to take the lead across the Lower North Island. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role where you’ll build strong connections with the wholesale and electrical contracting community, open new doors, and drive meaningful growth across the region. Reporting to the National Wholesale Manager, you’ll shape territory development, win new business, and strengthen key end-user and channel partnerships – all while being supported by a collaborative, values-driven team that loves to celebrate success.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and deliver a clear growth plan for your territory
  • Build trusted relationships with key end users and wholesale partners, connecting regularly online and in person
  • Identify new projects and opportunities early, generate and qualify leads, and prepare compelling proposals and tenders
  • Introduce new products and services to market, staying current on product developments and innovations
  • Collaborate closely with customer support, technical specialists, sales, and procurement to deliver outstanding service
  • Keep CRM, pipeline and metrics up to date

About You: 
You’ll be a natural relationship builder with a genuine drive to spot opportunities and turn them into results. To hit the ground running, you’ll bring:

  • Proven sales and relationship management experience – ideally across the Lower North Island
  • Confidence preparing proposals/tenders, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Commercial savvy, resilience, and tenacity – you thrive in a fast-paced, autonomous role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and confidence using CRM and online platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • An electrical qualification or hands-on industry experience (preferred but not a requirement)
