Content Digital Design Manager

The role:
You’ll be responsible for leading the organisation’s digital presence, storytelling, and design across multiple brands and workstreams. You’ll be a true end to end content generalist – hands on in creation while also informing strategy. This is a solo role with no direct reports, offering significant autonomy and visibility. You’ll act as the voice of the brand across digital channels, ensuring everything produced is premium, consistent, and impactful.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Leading digital content, storytelling, and design for all three areas of the business, across all workstreams
  • Creating high-quality written and visual content that elevates voice, engagement, and impact
  • Managing social media across multiple brands and channels
  • Developing, refreshing, and owning brand templates and digital assets
  • Writing and sending monthly membership EDMs using HubSpot
  • Updating and maintaining website content via WordPress
  • Attending events to capture content and amplify member and organisational voices
  • Supporting podcasts and videocasts (no production required, but some experience is helpful)

This role blends strategy and delivery – you’ll be thinking big-picture while also rolling up your sleeves to get the work done.

About You:
You’re someone who enjoys breadth, ownership, and autonomy, and you’re comfortable being the go-to person for all things content and digital. You will bring:

  • Experience as a Content Manager or in a similar end‑to‑end content creation role
  • Experience working across multiple high-end brands or business areas
  • A strong, premium design eye with confidence creating visual assets (Canva experience required)
  • Comfortable managing and updating websites via WordPress, and creating EDMs through HubSpot 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident working autonomously, owning work end‑to‑end and getting things done
  • Proven ability to prioritise, plan, and deliver in a fast‑paced environment

A background in journalism and/or design is preferred. Experience across both commercial and not-for-profit environments or a strong understanding of how both operate will set you up well.
