We are partnering with a leading organisation in workplace technology solutions to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who thrives on building new relationships and delivering innovative, technology-led workplace solutions. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across a portfolio of modern workplace solutions. You’ll take a consultative, solution-led approach—helping organisations reimagine how their people collaborate and connect in modern workplaces.
The focus is on high-growth solution areas such as:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) and collaboration technology
- Hybrid workplace solutions
- Desk and meeting room booking systems
- Digital signage solutions
You’ll engage with both new prospects and existing clients, positioning tailored solutions that enhance workplace efficiency and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities;
- Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking, referrals, and lead follow-up
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline, delivering consistent revenue growth
- Engage customers in strategic conversations about hybrid work, collaboration, and workplace optimisation
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Lead client engagements including presentations, workshops, demos, proposals, and tender submissions
- Collaborate with internal technical and presales teams to design tailored solutions
- Manage customer relationships end-to-end, acting as the key point of contact throughout the sales cycle
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and reporting
- Stay current with workplace technology trends and market developments
We’re looking for a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional who combines strong commercial acumen with a passion for technology and innovation.
You’ll bring;
- 3–5 years’ experience in business development or solution sales i
- Proven success in generating pipeline and closing deals
- Experience selling workplace, AV, collaboration, or digital solutions (highly regarded)
- Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover and solve client challenges
- Confident communication skills and experience engaging with senior stakeholders
- Solid understanding of modern workplace technologies and cloud-based solutions
- A strong grasp of the local business landscape and the ability to navigate and build relationships within it
- A proactive, resilient, and self-driven approach
