Talent Acquisition Specialist

Recruitment sits at the heart of this role, but it’s far from being the only focus. You’ll partner closely with operational leaders, support key business processes, and play an important role in delivering talent and systems projects across the aviation business.

We’re pleased to partner with a well-established global organisation operating within the aviation sector. Supporting a workforce of around 80 employees, this standalone role works closely with local leadership while remaining connected to a broader national and global network. It’s an environment where you’ll be trusted to work independently, build strong relationships, and make a genuine contribution across the business.

This is a 12-month contract with a strong intention for the role to become permanent, offering a unique blend of talent acquisition, operational support, and project involvement.

The Role
This role is split across talent acquisition, business and operational support, and system project work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and likes being involved in the wider operation. You’ll take ownership of recruitment and onboarding whilst supporting the day-to-day administration and coordination that keeps the operation running smoothly.

The successful candidate will be someone who is comfortable working autonomously, enjoys building relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, and takes pride in being the person others can rely on to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a range of operational and support positions, from advertising and sourcing through to offers and onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, provide recruitment advice, and support hiring decisions
  • Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure new employees have a seamless transition into the business
  • Act as a key user of the PageUp recruitment platform, supporting implementation, optimisation, training, and ongoing system adoption
  • Support wider talent initiatives and people-focused projects
  • Coordinate safety communications, operational documentation, and procurement administration
  • Support business reporting, KPI tracking, budget analysis, compliance, visitor management, and other key operational functions

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, with a proven track record of delivering quality hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a sole recruiter or lead talent specialist, balancing strategic talent acquisition initiatives with hands-on recruitment delivery
  • Confidence to influence hiring decisions, manage stakeholder expectations, and work autonomously
  • The ability to juggle multiple vacancies and priorities while maintaining a high standard of service and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the credibility to partner effectively across the business
  • ATS experience, with PageUp highly regarded
  • A practical, hands-on approach and a genuine passion for delivering great hiring outcomes and candidate experiences

Why Join?

  • Secure a 12-month contract with a genuine opportunity for the role to become permanent
  • Enjoy a role with real autonomy and ownership, where you’ll have the ability to influence hiring outcomes and business processes
  • Gain exposure to a unique aviation environment that combines people, operations, compliance, and project work
  • Be heavily involved in the implementation and ongoing development of PageUp and broader talent initiatives
  • Fully onsite role, offering flexibility around start and finish times, along with free on-site parking

If you’re an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys working independently, building strong stakeholder relationships, and being part of the wider business rather than sitting solely within recruitment, I’d love to hear from you.
