There’s plenty of work out there— nearly every business, large or small, has a need for accounting skills, and with Madison’s large client base, if you are keen and have the skills, you could soon be enjoying a role in the company of your dreams!

There are some skill sets that are currently in very high demand. There is a shortage of skilled job seekers with experience in payroll, credit control and AML experience, and we are always looking for job seekers with these skills. Post-COVID, we are seeing a renewed focus on working in the office, and the connectivity and culture benefits that can result. Many Accounting and Finance roles are primarily office-based.

That said, many organisations  do offer flexible work in various formats.  In the jobs we recruit for, we see hybrid models, i.e. with one or two remote work/from home days per week, along with a greater support of flexibility in start and finish times. Part-time roles and job share roles are also fairly common.
