Project Administrator

We’re looking for a super organised individual who is ready to hit the ground running and support a regional team and the finance department in this data-driven role within the public sector. This role requires strong administration experience, an eagle eye for detail, and ideally some understanding of finance and particularly asset management.

About the role
The role will be assisting with the timely completion of capitalisation paperwork and closing projects, working with regional teams, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and supporting the finance team. We are looking for a capable and engaged individual who can:

  • Deliver outstanding administrative support across different business units within the company
  • Ensure accuracy in building data and project documentation, identifying and correcting issues and validating asset data
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure all outstanding projects are fully capitalised
  • Update the central management system with changes and transactions to ensure the system reflects the most current information
  • Collate information for projects across the country and complete other administrative tasks as necessary.

About you
We’re looking for a smart and switched on candidate with strong Excel skills, who loves working with data and can pick up things quickly, learning fast to deal efficiently with key tasks. You will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in working independently, completing tasks to agreed compliance standards and meeting deadlines
  • The ability to manage and analyse data effectively
  • Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Previous experience in administration, ideally 2-3 years in administrative support roles
  • A basic understanding of finance and asset management.
