About the role: As Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of a distributed network of OSCAR programmes across Aotearoa. You’ll oversee the delivery of safe, engaging, and compliant services through a talented team of Regional Operations Managers and other leaders. This is a hands-on, people-centric role with big-picture impact.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and delivery of national operational strategies, aligned with business objectives
- Coach and develop your direct reports to foster high performance, safety, and staff retention
- Oversee programme compliance, health and safety, and quality assurance across all sites
- Manage budgets, reporting, and resourcing to ensure financial sustainability of programmes
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders including MSD and schools
About You: You’re a seasoned operational leader who thrives in a values-led, child-centred organisation. You love leading people and driving continuous improvement in a complex, multi-site environment.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar multi-site, operational management role
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage budgets and reporting processes
- Track record in compliance, quality, and health & safety in a regulated setting
- Skilled in change management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to communicate, influence, and engage across all levels
Benefits:
- Base salary up to $155,000
- $10,000 motor vehicle allowance
- 15% short-term incentive bonus
