Customer Service Administrator

Their New Zealand operation plays a key role in supporting customers with technical products, expert advice, and efficient service delivery.
 
We’re on the lookout for a capable and proactive Customer Service Administrator to join a tight-knit, collaborative team in this varied and hands-on role. About the Role:
This role is a blend of customer service, administration and technical support. You’ll be managing enquiries, processing job orders, supporting the sales team, and helping keep internal operations running smoothly.
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing job orders and managing daily workflow tasks with attention to detail
  • Completing data entry and preparing regular reporting for internal use
  • Assisting with banking transactions, accounts receivable, and monthly commission calculations
  • Using business systems such as Salesforce and JD Edwards to track orders and update records
  • Supporting stock control activities, including inventory updates and participating in stocktakes
  • Coordinating office and shop consumables, and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
  • Providing customer service support to both internal teams and external clients, primarily via phone and email

 
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking someone who’s confident with admin processes and enjoys working in a fast-paced, practical environment. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous experience in administration and customer service
  • A keen interest in technical products and a willingness to learn (e.g. parts, hydraulics, fittings)
  • A background in manufacturing, parts interpretation or a trade-based industry is a bonus
  • Confidence with Microsoft Excel and the ability to work with data and formulas
  • Experience using Salesforce and/or JD Edwards would be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a close-knit team
