CCTV operator

Looking to step into a fast-paced role where no two days are the same? We are looking for candidates seeking CCTV roles!
 
This role will be starting immediately and is  a great opportunity to work in a busy, varied and challenging environment.
 
You’ll be the eyes and ears on the ground, monitoring live CCTV feeds, coordinating support teams, responding to incidents, and making sure the community gets the right info at the right time. Your role will be key in keeping people safe and informed.
 
Key Details
 

  • ASAP start until June 2026
  • $30 per hour + 8% holiday pay
  • Based in Auckland CBD
  • Rostered fortnightly shifts across 7 days between 7am – 10pm so you must be flexible
  • Overtime available after 80 hours in a fortnight

 
About the role
 
This supportive team require additional assistance within the CCTV monitoring space, liaising with the wider organisation to ensure incidents are responded to correctly and announcements are made promptly, customer service and safety is paramount.
 
Duties will include
 

  • Highly accurate administration and monitoring
  • Customer service via phone and email, answering queries
  • Responding to incidents safely and efficiently
  • Dispatching resources proactively
  • Clear communication with all stakeholders
  • Liasing with local businesses
  • supporting the community

 
About you
 

  • Must have previous CCTV operator experience for at least 1 year
  • This is a fast paced, customer centric team, where you will need to be adaptable and flexible to manage a changing environment
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient with technology and new systems
  • Resilient, reliable and a great team player
