Clinic Administrator

About the role:
We’re seeking a compassionate and professional Receptionist to provide short‑term cover within a busy private healthcare practice. This part‑time contract runs for approximately 2–3 months and will involve working across two clinic locations, with some days based on the North Shore and others in Newmarket. Flexibility and comfort travelling between sites is essential and it will be for roughly 26 hours per week.

You’ll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, supporting both the front desk and wider clinic operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming patients and visitors with warmth, empathy, and professionalism
  • Managing a busy reception area with calm efficiency
  • Assisting patients with appointments, scheduling, and administrative processes
  • Coordinating closely with clinical and administrative teams
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation and confidentiality
  • Adapting to flexible hours

About you:

  • Calm, adaptable, and genuinely patient‑focused
  • Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving skills
  • Previous reception, administration, or customer service experience preferred
  • Comfortable in a fast‑paced, clinical environment
  • Professional appearance and demeanour
  • Flexible with hours and able to travel between North Shore and Newmarket locations
