We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Team Leader to step into a key leadership role within a Care Home in Christchurch.

This is a hands-on leadership position where you will coordinate daily clinical operations, support your team, and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care.

About the role:

You’ll play a central role in leading the shift-to-shift delivery of care across your unit, working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and wider leadership team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading day-to-day clinical operations and care coordination
• Supporting and guiding nursing and care staff
• Managing rosters and staffing allocation
• Overseeing admissions, discharges, and resident flow
• Supporting clinical decision-making and escalation
• Driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement

 
What you’ll bring:

• A current NZ Registered Nurse Practising Certificate
• 7 years of Aged Care RN experience
• Experience in a senior nursing or leadership role
• The ability to support, coach, and develop a team
• A commitment to person-centred and culturally safe care
