We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Team Leader to step into a key leadership role within a Care Home in Christchurch.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you will coordinate daily clinical operations, support your team, and ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care.
About the role:
You’ll play a central role in leading the shift-to-shift delivery of care across your unit, working closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and wider leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading day-to-day clinical operations and care coordination
- Supporting and guiding nursing and care staff
- Managing rosters and staffing allocation
- Overseeing admissions, discharges, and resident flow
- Supporting clinical decision-making and escalation
- Driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement
What you’ll bring:
- A current NZ Registered Nurse Practising Certificate
- 7 years of Aged Care RN experience
- Experience in a senior nursing or leadership role
- The ability to support, coach, and develop a team
- A commitment to person-centred and culturally safe care
