Operations Administrator (Part-Time Temp)
 
Location: Auckland CBD 
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–1:00pm (approx. 22.5 hrs/week) 
Type: Temporary assignment through Madison for one month (initially)
On-site position
Start:  Monday July 13th to allow for handover (timing to be confirmed during process).
 
About the client
Our client is an established Auckland CBD-based consulting business with modern offices in the CBD. They’re known for a professional, high-performing environment and are looking for reliable admin support to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
 
The opportunity
The Operations Administrator is the heartbeat of this client’s day-to-day office environment. You’ll keep things ticking – ensuring the office is welcoming, well-stocked, and running smoothly for staff and visitors every morning. You report to the Operations Manager and work closely with them to deliver an excellent employee experience. This is a part-time, onsite role covering mornings Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for event support or other operational needs when they arise.

This role is initially a one-month temporary assignment, with the intention to renew and extend this assignment.  

In this role, you may support with:

  • General office administration and operational support
  • Greet guests and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming first impression, answer and direct telephone calls professionally 
  • Set up the kitchen each morning – prepare coffee, teas, and ensure everything is ready for the day & maintain and stock the fridge, pantry, and kitchen supplies
  • Inbox/calendar coordination and scheduling assistance
  • Document preparation, formatting, and filing
  • Updating systems, spreadsheets, and internal trackers
  • Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc admin tasks as required

About you

  • Proven experience in administration / office support / operations coordination
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence juggling multiple priorities
  • Clear, professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Good MS Office capability (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • A proactive, can-do approach and reliability
