Rātā Foundation is looking for a talented communications professional who can confidently move between social media strategy, digital content, stakeholder communications, reporting, campaigns, events, and brand management.
This is a rare opportunity to join one of New Zealand’s leading community funders and play a key role in telling the stories that showcase the impact of funding across Canterbury, Nelson, Marlborough and the Chatham Islands. The role sits within a busy, high-performing communications function and supports the delivery of communications across the Foundation’s community investment and financial investment portfolios.
About the role:
Reporting to the Senior Communications Lead, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Rātā Foundation’s digital and content communications. You’ll coordinate and deliver social media activity across key channels, manage website content, coordinate EDMs, analyse performance data across key communication channels, support events, and help bring community stories to life through compelling content and campaigns.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. You’ll be managing multiple priorities, responding to changing needs, and ensuring communications remain professional, engaging, and aligned with the Rātā brand.

You’ll be equally comfortable being out in the community, interviewing people for a Faces of Funding story, as you are managing social media, drafting a media release, or adapting key research for various communications channels and audiences.
