Our client is a growing professional services business seeking a capable and proactive Business Support Coordinator to join their Auckland team.
This is a hands-on, varied position supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across IT coordination, Health & Safety administration, finance support, events, executive support, and general office management.
The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in an environment where initiative and problem-solving are valued.
Key Responsibilities
IT & Systems Coordination
- Coordinate and manage internal IT queries
- Liaise with external IT providers and software vendors
- Monitor and support the smooth operation of business systems
- Assist with equipment procurement and technology-related administration
Health & Safety Coordination
- Maintain Health & Safety records, registers, and documentation
- Support policy implementation and compliance activities
- Coordinate staff training and inductions
- Assist with ongoing Health & Safety initiatives and reporting
Executive & Business Support
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and business documentation
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and event logistics
- Support senior leaders with a range of operational and administrative requirements
- Assist with special projects and business initiatives as required
Office & Finance Administration
- Support day-to-day office operations
- Assist with reporting, record management, and process improvement
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Provide administration support relating to financial and funding activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience in administration, office management, executive support, operations coordination, or a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and external providers
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership
Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Canva, Health & Safety administration, IT coordination, or finance support would be advantageous.
