Business Support Administrator

Our client is a growing professional services business seeking a capable and proactive Business Support Coordinator to join their Auckland team.

This is a hands-on, varied position supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy office. You’ll work closely with senior leaders across IT coordination, Health & Safety administration, finance support, events, executive support, and general office management.

The role would suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and thrives in an environment where initiative and problem-solving are valued.

Key Responsibilities
IT & Systems Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage internal IT queries
  • Liaise with external IT providers and software vendors
  • Monitor and support the smooth operation of business systems
  • Assist with equipment procurement and technology-related administration

Health & Safety Coordination

  • Maintain Health & Safety records, registers, and documentation
  • Support policy implementation and compliance activities
  • Coordinate staff training and inductions
  • Assist with ongoing Health & Safety initiatives and reporting

Executive & Business Support

  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and business documentation
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and event logistics
  • Support senior leaders with a range of operational and administrative requirements
  • Assist with special projects and business initiatives as required

Office & Finance Administration

  • Support day-to-day office operations
  • Assist with reporting, record management, and process improvement
  • Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and service providers
  • Provide administration support relating to financial and funding activities


About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience in administration, office management, executive support, operations coordination, or a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • The confidence to work with senior stakeholders and external providers
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership

Experience with Office 365, SharePoint, Canva, Health & Safety administration, IT coordination, or finance support would be advantageous.
