We’re looking for a Regulatory Analyst to join a high-profile programme supporting a major price-quality regulatory submission, helping shape key business decisions through evidence-based analysis and stakeholder engagement. This is a contract opportunity running through to 18 December.
About the Role
Working as part of a specialist regulatory team, you’ll play a key role in preparing a significant regulatory proposal. You’ll undertake analysis, assess complex data sets, develop robust evidence, and help draft supporting materials and submissions. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across finance, operations, strategy, planning, and delivery teams to gather information and provide insights that support regulatory decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of a major price-quality regulatory proposal
- Conduct detailed analysis and translate findings into clear, evidence-based insights
- Assess data quality and ensure regulatory submissions are supported by robust evidence
- Develop commentary and reporting material for regulatory and compliance requirements
- Identify risks, opportunities, and performance trends across business metrics
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to source information and drive outcomes
- Contribute to creating efficient and repeatable processes for data collection and analysis
About You

You’ll bring:
- Strong analytical and data assessment skills
- Experience working in regulatory, infrastructure, utility, business analysis, or similar environments
- The ability to assess complex information and develop sound recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and confidence communicating with senior leaders
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and problem-solving ability
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
Exposure to price regulation or working within a regulated industry would be highly regarded.
