We’re seeking a Business Operations Team Leader to lead a specialist financial services team responsible for assessing customer applications, managing finance contracts, and ensuring operational excellence across a fast-paced business function.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support a high-performing operations team
- Review and assess customer finance applications and credit information
- Identify financial risks, anomalies and potential red flags
- Approve and manage contracts in line with company policies and compliance requirements
- Oversee daily workflow management and workload distribution
- Manage escalated applications and operational issues
- Monitor team performance, service levels and key operational metrics
- Ensure contracts are accurately prepared, executed and activated
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver excellent customer outcomes
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in credit assessment, lending, finance operations, asset finance, leasing, banking or a similar environment
- Previous leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to assess financial information
- Confidence making decisions and managing risk
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance operational responsibilities with people leadership
- A proactive, hands-on approach and desire to improve processes
