My first steps into recruitment began with an assignment through Madison at Auckland Council, supporting high-volume graduate and intern recruitment campaigns. After spending a few years overseas teaching at a school in Vietnam, I showed back up on Madison’s door to see if they had any temp work, and luckily they offered me a spot internally!
Starting in the Government Team, who originally placed me at Council, I was working with clients across the public sector primarily in the temporary recruitment space. In 2021, I set up the National Resourcing Team, where we focus on sourcing candidates for nationwide projects and supporting the teams across the business with specialist searching, volume recruitment, and unbundled service projects.
The diversity of the projects our team work on is what keeps my job interesting. Meeting with people from all walks of life across Aotearoa to hear their stories is a great way to spend your days!
