Operations Manager

Join our client, a well-known elite residential and commercial property care business that has recently expanded its services with a new Lawn & Garden Care division. We are seeking a dynamic Business/Operations Manager to drive this new venture to success. About the Role:
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee all operational activities for their lawn moving and garden care business, for both their in-house lawn mowing teams and franchisees. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring service excellence, boosting franchisee performance, and driving overall business growth. Your leadership will be key in maintaining client relationships, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that operational goals are met. This role also involves supporting franchisees with marketing and business strategies while ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of both the in-house team and franchise units, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
  • Lead and mentor the in-house lawn mowing team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Assist franchisees in developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers
  • Track & analyse franchisee revenue, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance growth.
  • Collaborate with management on strategic planning, business development and acquisition opportunities.

 
What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in business or operations management, ideally within a service-based industry like lawn care or landscaping.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire teams and franchisees.
  • A strategic mindset and excellent business acumen, with a track record of driving growth and improving operations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills to manage client and franchisee relations.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a hands-on approach to operational challenges.
  • Practical knowledge of industry-specific equipment (e.g., lawn mowing, hedge trimming, ride-on mowers).
  • Solid understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
