Business Support Coordinator

A well-regarded property and construction consultancy is seeking a capable Business Support Coordinator to join their Auckland office. This is a broad, hands-on role where you will sit at the centre of the business, supporting submissions, projects, and day-to-day operations.

A key focus of the role is writing and coordinating submissions, bids, and tenders. You will take ownership of pulling together proposals, drafting clear and engaging content, and coordinating inputs to produce professional, well-presented documents. You will also contribute to written material more broadly, including reports, articles, and marketing content.
 
From there, you will stay involved as projects progress, helping set them up in the system and supporting teams through to delivery. This role suits someone who enjoys both writing and coordination, with the ability to balance creativity, structure, and attention to detail.
 
Key responsibilities not limited to:

  • Prepare, write, and coordinate high-quality submissions, bids, and tenders
  • Pull together reports, presentations, and business-critical documentation to a professional standard
  • Set up new projects in internal systems and support teams through to delivery readiness
  • Assist with invoicing processes, approvals, and follow-up of outstanding payments
  • Maintain SharePoint and internal systems, ensuring information remains accurate, organised, and accessible
  • Format and produce content using MS Office and Canva, including written articles and marketing materials
  • Contribute to wider business operations including events, IT coordination, Health and Safety support, executive assistance, and general office responsibilities

About you

  • Strong written communication skills, with experience writing submissions, reports, or similar business content
  • Comfortable producing well-structured, polished documents with a strong attention to detail
  • A balance of creativity and logic, with an eye for presentation and layout
  • Degree qualified or working towards a relevant qualification (e.g. business, marketing, communications or similar)
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Adaptable and happy to get involved across all areas of the business
  • Proactive, switched on, and keen to take ownership
