Madison Recruitment are working with them exclusively to appoint a permanent Operations and Systems Analyst to support and enhance their inventory management processes and core business systems.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on, analytically focused role that sits at the intersection of inventory, finance, and systems. You will lead the ongoing performance of the ERP and related platforms while ensuring accurate, well-managed inventory and related data.
Managing one team member, this role is ideal for someone early in their career with a strong numerical skillset and demonstrable exposure to ERP or business systems who wants to spread their wings into the operational side of a Kiwi owned business. The company use MYOB Acumatica. Experience with this particular system isn’t necessarily required but a good level of competency with ERP systems in general is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory and Data Management:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory and pricing data across ERP and eCommerce systems
- Monitoring stock levels and timely ordering of stock, both imported and local ensuring accurate capture and processing of associated documents
- Lead pricing updates and ongoing price maintenance
- Oversee stocktakes, cycle counts, and provide variance analysis and insights
- Produce costs analysis and reporting, in particular international and domestic freight
- Produce and analyse inventory reporting (stock turn, ageing, performance metrics)
Systems and Process Support:
- Lead the day-to-day operation and optimisation of ERP and business systems
- Drive system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
- Act as a first point of contact for system queries and troubleshooting
- Document processes and maintain system procedures
- Lead Health and Safety and compliance requirements
Stakeholder and Team Support:
- Work closely with finance, operations, and IT stakeholders
- Support and mentor a junior team member
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems and processes
About You:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or similar
- Strong analytical and numerical capability
- Demonstrable exposure to ERP systems (through work, internships, or projects)
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and focus on data integrity
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Proactive, organised, and keen to build a career in systems/ERP
