Change Lead – Infrastructure Systems Programme

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Change Lead to join a large-scale systems implementation programme within a complex infrastructure-focused environment.

This programme will deliver new enterprise platforms that will transform how projects, programmes, and critical business documentation are managed across the organisation. The successful contractor will play a key role in ensuring smooth adoption of these new tools while helping to strengthen and mature change management practices across the business.

About the Role

This is a genuinely hands-on change role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders to achieve real outcomes.

You’ll be partnering with project managers, business leaders, SMEs, and vendors to ensure people are ready for change, understand what’s changing, and are supported through the transition.

While you’ll be responsible for delivering change activities across a key programme, you’ll also have the opportunity to influence the broader change landscape by helping drive consistency, capability, and best practice across initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement change strategies and plans aligned to programme objectives. 
  • Conduct change impact assessments and readiness assessments. 
  • Partner with project teams to integrate change activities into delivery plans.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across business and project teams. 
  • Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions, and change forums.
  • Develop and deliver effective communication and engagement activities.
  • Support learning, training, and capability-building initiatives. 
  • Monitor adoption, readiness, and post-implementation outcomes.
  • Coach leaders and stakeholders on their roles in successful change delivery. 
  • Contribute to the uplift of organisational change capability and consistency. 

About You

We’re looking for a pragmatic Change Lead with experience delivering change across infrastructure, utilities, engineering, construction, transport, or service-based organisations.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience supporting portfolio, programme, or systems delivery in complex infrastructure or service environments.
  • A hands-on, delivery-focused approach to change management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
  • Flexibility to work beyond traditional change boundaries and do what’s needed to support delivery.
  • Experience with change impacts, readiness, communications, engagement, and adoption activities.
  • A passion for driving consistency and helping uplift change capability and maturity across an organisation.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys being part of the delivery team, takes a practical approach, and is focused on outcomes rather than methodology.
