About the Role
Reporting to the Facilities & Asset Manager, you will lead the coordination of planned and reactive maintenance activities, support asset lifecycle management, oversee contractor compliance, and contribute to facilities projects. You will also provide operational leadership support and act as the second-in-charge when required.  
 
Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating planned preventative maintenance programmes and reactive maintenance activities
  • Managing contractor engagement, inductions, compliance documentation, and site safety requirements
  • Maintaining accurate asset registers, data, and reporting systems
  • Supporting asset performance monitoring, lifecycle planning, and capital replacement initiatives
  • Coordinating facilities projects from planning through to completion
  • Verifying completed works, managing work order close-out processes, and reviewing invoices for approval
  • Supporting building compliance obligations, audits, inspections, and statutory requirements
  • Assisting with fleet asset coordination and performance monitoring
  • Developing procedures, documentation, and process improvement initiatives

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Experience in facilities coordination, property, asset management, maintenance, or a related field, preferably in the Healthcare industry
  • Experience coordinating contractors, maintenance programmes, and service providers
  • Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and contractor management
  • Experience maintaining asset management systems and data records
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and digital systems
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
