Part-time L&D Coordinator

Support a high-impact leadership programme shaping the future of leadership across a large New Zealand organisation.

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to join a collaborative Learning & Capability team to help deliver a significant leadership development programme that will reach hundreds of leaders across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating multiple moving parts, building strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring learning initiatives are delivered seamlessly from planning through to execution.

About the Role
Working closely with Learning & Capability specialists, you’ll provide end-to-end coordination support across the design, planning and delivery phases of a large-scale leadership programme.

You’ll be responsible for managing logistics, communications, administration, reporting and stakeholder coordination, helping create an exceptional learning experience for participants while ensuring programme delivery remains on track.

Location: Auckland CBD 
Hours: 24 hours per week (equivalent to 3 days per week)
Flexibility: Hours are flexible and can be spread across the week, with some work from home flexibility available 
Start Date: July 2026
Duration: Fixed-term contract until December 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate leadership development programmes and learning events
  • Manage programme schedules, logistics and participant communications
  • Act as a key point of contact for learning enquiries
  • Maintain learning calendars, records and documentation
  • Support learning reporting and data analysis requirements
  • Assist with Learning Management System administration and reporting
  • Coordinate meetings, governance activities and project administration
  • Support budget administration, purchase orders and invoice processing
  • Maintain content and resources across internal learning platforms
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the learner experience

About You
You’ll be someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in keeping programmes organised and running smoothly.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a coordination, administration or learning support role
  • Experience within Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related function
  • Exposure to Learning Management Systems would be advantageous
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence working with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Strong reporting and data management capabilities
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high levels of accuracy
