What You’ll Be Doing

  • Answering inbound phone calls from members of the public
  • Providing accurate information and resolving customer queries
  • Logging information into internal systems
  • Managing customer interactions with professionalism and empathy
  • Navigating multiple systems in a fast‑paced environment
  • Escalating complex matters to the appropriate teams

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous customer service experience (call centre, hospitality, retail, reception, tourism or similar)
  • A calm, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence using technology and learning new systems quickly
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster
  • A positive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and customer outcomes

YOU MUST ALREADY POSSES WORKING RIGHTS IN NEW ZEALAND TO APPLY.

The Details:

  • Start Dates: October and November 2026 intakes available
  • Assignment Length: Minimum 12-month temporary assignment with strong potential for extension or permanent opportunities
  • Hours: Minimum 25 hours per week guaranteed, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours
  • Roster: Monday to Sunday, shifts operating between 6am and 1am
  • Training: Approximately 4 weeks of paid training (full attendance required)
  • Availability: Must be available for at least 5 days across a 7-day roster, including weekends
  • Location: Palmerston North. This is a fully office-based role with no work-from-home option available
  • Pay Rate: $29.90 per hour + 8% holiday pay
